How it works

Shoot content that fits the month. Each month has a theme. Grab quick clips and photos while you work.

Drop it in the salon album. Send it to the shared album. That is your entry. We handle the rest and tag you when it posts.

Rack up points. Points add up all season. The stylist with the most points when the season closes is the champion.

Points come from what you send us and how good it is. We want your raw clips, the ones we can turn into brand-new posts for Acapello. Quality stacks on top.

Already posting your own Acapello work? Tag @Acapello_Salons as a collaborator before you publish for a quick 5. It is a nice bonus, but your raw clips score the most, because those are what become original Acapello content.

A 10 second clip at your station: wave, say your name, and one thing you love about working at Acapello. Faces and real personality are what people connect with and book.
A real behind-the-scenes moment
Catch the team laughing between clients, color being mixed at the bar, or the buzz of a busy Saturday. Unpolished and real beats staged every time.
The Aveda ritual guests love
Film a signature touch: the aroma you hand a guest to breathe in, the tea, the little welcome that makes Acapello feel like Acapello.

The experience
The new-guest welcome
Film the first minute of a guest's visit: the greeting, the beverage, getting them settled in your chair. Show what it feels like to walk through the door.
The scalp massage and warm towel
A close, calm clip of the relaxing moment at the wash: the massage, the warm towel, the exhale. This is the moment people screenshot and save.
A bit of team personality
A stylist being themselves, a genuine reaction, an inside joke between the team. People book people they like, so let them meet you.
September
Teach one thing
A 30 second product tip
Hold up one Aveda product and show how to use it at home: how much, where, and the technique. Name the problem it solves. Useful and easy to save.
A tool or technique demo
A close-up of your hands working: a foil pattern, a round-brush finish, a clean part, a braid. Slow and satisfying to watch is the goal.
A quick how-to
Answer one thing guests always ask, like keeping blonde from going brassy or refreshing curls on day two. Straight to camera, one clear tip.
The season champion
The prize
Most points when the season closes wins $150 cash and the traveling trophy.
The trophy is engraved with your name and stays at your station until the next champion takes it. Season closes September 30 and the champion is announced at the team huddle.
